I SUPPORT THE RIGHT TO REPAIR CAMPAIGN!
Vehicles have become more and more “computers on wheels”. To ensure their functionality and the safety of their systems throughout their entire life, automotive aftermarket operators must have full and fair access to technical information, multi-brand diagnostic tools and test equipment, replacement parts and training. Since 2002, the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation (EC) 1400/2002 has provided a regulatory framework to that end. This Regulation will however expire in May 2010.
As a consumer, I want to keep my freedom of choice. I hence want all market operators to continue and provide quality services and parts for the aftermarket care of my vehicle.
As an aftermarket operator, I want to be given a fair chance to compete and to stay in business to ensure affordable mobility for European motorist consumers.
By signing this petition, I add my voice to the many who care about their right to repair.
